TODD L. MOODY, Of Counsel





Mr. Moody is a founding member of Ellsworth, Moody & Bennion and practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, commercial litigation, and adoption. He taught Civil Procedure as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Southern Nevada, and belongs to the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association and Nevada American Inn of Court.

The American Academy of Adoption Attorneys has named Mr. Moody as one of only four Fellows in all of Nevada. Fellows in the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys are selected because they "have met the highest ethical and competency standards" and "are active practitioners with the most knowledge, skill, and experience in the field of adoption."

Before he practiced law, Mr. Moody obtained a degree in Public Policy from Brigham Young University in 1991 and a law degree from Mercer University where he distinguished himself in client counseling. He graduated in 1994 and was admitted to practice law in Nevada later that same year.

Mr. Moody is actively involved in the community. He sits on the Las Vegas Planning Commission and serves on the executive boards of both the Las Vegas Area Counsel and Western Region for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Moody was recently appointed by the Supreme Court of Nevada to serve on the Foreclosure Mediation Panel, which was created by the Nevada legislature to lessen the impact of the foreclosure crisis on Nevada's residents and financial institutions.
